Shelton, CT (9/13/2011) - Wiley Mods riders Tyler Turner
and Bren Marra both on board a Kawasaki KFX 450 came into the
New England Series looking to dominate the Open and 4 stroke B classes!
Since Round one Bren and Tyler never looked back after taking overall wins race
after race. They have total of 16 overall wins between them, 13 coming form Bren
Marra and 3 coming from Tyler Turner. There Wiley mods motors built by Paul
Marra is a big part of there success this year which haven't failed all year in
getting them out to a strong start and then keeping them in front for the whole
race.
Bren Marra #93 18 years old from
Bordentown New Jersey has been on top of the
standing since he started racing ! Bren is
known all over the ATV racing world with 2
national championships one back in 2006 and
one in 2010 with a lot of other wins over
his racing career. For the 2011 season he
decided to try something new and run the New
England ATV tour where he has been
unstoppable from the start of the season
after taking both of the wins at round #1 at walden he
continued his success week after week with
continuing to win all of his races which
currently gives him a comfortable lead in
both open B and 4 stroke B.
Tyler
Turner #28 16 years old from Penndel
Pennsylvania is a hard competitive racer
from the time he started. Tyler's not known
over the ATV world as much as Bren Marra is
but has accomplished a lot of things over
his career with two District 6 championships
in 2007 and 2008 and also many other local
wins and nationals podiums. This year he had
also tried something new with heading up
north For the New England ATV tour where he
had a lot of success so far this year. Tyler
has been trailing his teammate Bren all year
long back in the second place which gives
him a tight points race in 4 stroke B and a
comfortable lead in open B. Round #10 at
hurricane hills Tyler finally took after his
teammate Bren and took the overall in both
an 4 stroke and Open B which helped him a
lot in the points. |

Racin' Extra October 2010
Bren Marra of
Bordentown, New Jersey, a Wiley Mods sponsored amateur,
made the move from the youth classes to the amateur
classes at the 2010 AMA-ATV Motocross Championship
series, and, of his own admission, he was nothing less
than jittery about the jump.
This nervousness proved profitable
for Marra. Knowing that some racers coming from the
youth classes to the amateur classes have high
expectations, Marra, along with the direction of his
father, Paul Marra of Wiley Mods, kept his expectations
grounded and went out, put his head down and made a name
for himself in the beginner ranks of the Amateur
classes.
Competing in the 450-C and
Production C classes at the MX Nationals, Marra
experienced a shaking-off-of-the-jitters in the first
few rounds, but soon found his racing footing as the
season progressed. By the second round of the 450-C
class he was already making podium appearances and by
the third round he'd captured his first national win in
the class.
On the season, Marra took the
overall win in the 450-C class and rounded out the
series in the Production C class in the runner-up
position.
In the 450-C class he accumulated
six wins to his credit with three seconds, a 6th overall
event finish and one missed round. Marra took the class
win with a 48 point lead over second place.
In the Production C class he
managed to bring home two wins in the latter rounds,
four 2nd place finishes, a couple of 5th's and one 7th.
Marra settled for the second place position in the
overall rankings just 46 points out of first.
To sum up Bren Marra's 2010 jump up into the amateur
ranks, anyone with any race savvy at all would have to
agree he shook off his jump-up-jitters like a seasoned
Pro. |

and 5 podium finishes!! This great finish was only topped
by our riders taking home 5 National Championships.

ATV RACIN EXTRA ... "Bren
Marra / C Class Contention"
New Jersey seems to be a breeding ground for Ace ATV
racers. First off, we feature Brett Cusumano in our
June Gate Picks article then we drop down a class
and find another New Jersey native chewing up the
ranks of the "C" classes.
Bren Marra is no stranger to the competition which
exist at the Motocross Nationals. For years he, and
his father, Paul Marra of Wiley Mods, have been in
the mix when it comes to mixing it up at national
caliber tracks at the AMA-ATV Motocross
Championships. This year is no different, that is,
except for one thing.
Marra made the move from the youth classes in 2009
to the big quad ranks for the 2010 season. Preseason
indicators were that he might not make the grade.
Man, how wrong can one be. Since dipping his helmet
into the 450 C and Production C classes at this
year's MX Nationals, Marra has not only proven to
himself that he has what it takes to compete on a
big quad, but has proven to the C class competition
that he shall be in their face, or, should we say,
occupying with authority the prime real estate of
the classes. And, deservingly so.
With five of the eleven round 2010 AMA-ATV MX
Nationals in the books, Marra has netted three wins
in the 450 C class and some consistent top five runs
in the Production C class. In the 450 C class, he
leads the overall standings after 5 rounds with a 58
point lead over second place. In the Production C
class he hasn't fared as well but sits in a solid
second place in the overall standings. He trails the
points leader by 22 points after five rounds and is
beginning to challenge for the top spot, finishing
2nd in the last two rounds.

ATV Racin Extra ... Wiley Mods Sweeps Loretta's
"At Loretta Lynn’s, Paul Marra, the big Kahuna of Cobra
mini-quads, had team Wiley Mod's screaming like Axel
Rose in "Welcome to the Jungle." Paul Marra was having
a good year, but at Loretta Lynn’s did what other motor
builders only dream about.
His team took first place in every Cobra class. The
six classes were: 50cc Production Sr, 70cc Single
Speed, 70cc Mod, 90cc Auto Jr, 90cc Auto Sr, and
90cc Production. They wrapped up national
championships in 5 of the before mentioned classes
(50cc Production Sr, 70cc Single Speed, 90cc Auto Jr,
90cc Auto Sr and 90cc Production). Not a bad year!
Corey Heath (#8) in the 50cc Production Sr class had
Paul Marra go back to the drawing board and create a
whole new motor combo that put all 50cc motors
before it to shame. Corey was 1.5 seconds a lap
faster than second place. Corey was so fast that
the competition pooled their funds and protested
Paul’s new motor. The motor was 49.5cc and Corey
ended up with a few new video games.
Alex Szymborski (#84) pulled off a triple class
victory at Loretta Lynn’s, taking first place in the
70cc Single Speed, 70cc Modified, and 90cc Auto Jr.
In the 70cc Single Speed, Wiley Mod's powerhouse
70cc in combination with a Trackside pipe and
Motowoz shocks.

The 2009 ITP/Moose
Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship wrapped up with the riders
going to the Dirt Days National at Loretta Lynn's Ranch at
Hurricane Mills, TN.
The Dirt Day National at Loretta Lynn's Ranch is the biggest
race of the season and our riders stepped it up!!!
Wiley Mods riders dominated the field in all the mini atv
classes. Alex
Szymborski, led the way with wins in the 70 SS (6-11), 70 Mod (6-11)
and 90 Auto (8-11) classes. Chase
Horton doubled up with wins in the 90 Prod (8-15) and 90 Auto
(12-15) classes. Brett J.
Musick took home a win in the 90 Production (12-15) class and Corey
Heath swept both motos in the 50 Sr (6-8) class.
Seven overall wins and five podium finishes
made for an incredible
weekend.

Wiley Mods Riders were back at it
this weekend. The 2009 ITP/Moose Racing AMA
ATV Motocross Championship took the riders to Unadilla MX, New
Berlin New York for the CAN-AM NORTHEASTERN ATV NATIONALS.
Five wins and seven podium finishes was the tally for the
weekend. Good job guys!!
