Revolutionary MXT front fork - Cobra's new Velocity Sensitive Traction Control fork will revolutionize the competition mini cycle market. Our exclusive 30mm USD architecture is designed exclusively for the 50cc application...it's not just a shortened version of a fork meant for a larger bike! Furthermore its action is very supple over small bumps, yet the fork is highly progressive for excellent control through the biggest of hits. Couple these improvements in damping with drastically reduced friction, and lap times will drop!

Patented Cobra Friction Drive - no one else has anything close. Cobra's all new CFD design is much easier to maintain, and it offers reduced gear drag and lower rotating inertia. Of course, the benefits of a well-protected driveline and improved traction and suspension action are retained from our previous design.

CARD piggyback rear shock with adjustable rebound, adjustable high speed compression, and adjustable low speed compression - more features than most of the big bike shocks!

Before the first Cobra 50 was introduced in 1994, young racers had to take to the track with bikes that were better suited for someone's back yard. Nearly twenty years later, the 2012 Cobra King 50 remains at the top of its class with a host of improvements that will ensure this bike retains its premier standing. Pairing with the King's exclusive CARD dual-adjustable rear shock will be an all-new front fork this year. Cobra's new VSTC front end will literally revolutionize the minicycle world with its ability to simultaneously track through small bumps while being able to absorb the biggest of hits without a whimper. In the engine department, a revised cylinder head improves bottom-end grunt, and an all new Cobra Friction Drive (CFD) improves protection of critical driveline components while at the same time is lighter weight and easier to adjust. Furthermore, the rear wheel is now 25% lighter, and it's stronger as well. And, once again, we are fitting both wheels with Dunlop GEOMAX MX51 tires for outstanding traction and stability. All this (and more!) will make the 2012 Cobra King 50 the dominate senior-class mini for next year!
