ATV Racin Extra ... Wiley Mods Sweeps Loretta's

"At Loretta Lynn’s, Paul Marra, the big Kahuna of Cobra mini-quads, had team Wiley Mod's screaming like Axel Rose in "Welcome to the Jungle."  Paul Marra was having a good year, but at Loretta Lynn’s did what other motor builders only dream about. 

 

His team took first place in every Cobra class.  The six classes were:  50cc Production Sr, 70cc Single Speed, 70cc Mod, 90cc Auto Jr, 90cc Auto Sr, and 90cc Production.  They wrapped up national championships in 5 of the before mentioned classes (50cc Production Sr, 70cc Single Speed, 90cc Auto Jr, 90cc Auto Sr and 90cc Production).  Not a bad year!
 

Corey Heath (#8) in the 50cc Production Sr class had Paul Marra go back to the drawing board and create a whole new motor combo that put all 50cc motors before it to shame.  Corey was 1.5 seconds a lap faster than second place.  Corey was so fast that the competition pooled their funds and protested Paul’s new motor.  The motor was 49.5cc and Corey ended up with a few new video games. 
 

Alex Szymborski (#84) pulled off a triple class victory at Loretta Lynn’s, taking first place in the 70cc Single Speed, 70cc Modified, and 90cc Auto Jr.  In the 70cc Single Speed, Wiley Mod's powerhouse 70cc in combination with a Trackside pipe and Motowoz shocks. more ...
 

17 August 2009:  The 2009 ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship wrapped up with the riders going to the Dirt Days National at Loretta Lynn's Ranch at Hurricane Mills, TN. The Dirt Day National at Loretta Lynn's Ranch is the biggest race of the season and our riders stepped it up!!! 

 

Wiley Mods riders dominated the field in all the mini atv classes. Alex Szymborski, led the way with wins in the 70 SS (6-11), 70 Mod (6-11) and 90 Auto (8-11) classes.  Chase Horton doubled up with wins in the 90 Prod (8-15) and 90 Auto (12-15) classes.  Brett J. Musick took home a win in the 90 Production (12-15) class and Corey Heath swept both motos in the 50 Sr (6-8) class.  Seven overall wins and five podium finishes made for an incredible weekend. 

 

For the season, Wiley Mod Riders won Five ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championships.
